This workshop will cover research-based methodologies and techniques shown to enhance job-seeking outcomes. Simply, using psychology to find a job in psychology. The identification of skills, and competencies, CV design, impression management, person:organisation fit, as well as hat research suggests about the various issues that can influence interviews will be considered. 



An Introduction to Schema Therapy

This workshop will introduce the concepts of Open Access and Open Data and their importance to the future development of psychology. It will demonstrate online resources which will be of use to both researchers and practitioners.



Informing public policy from research in Ireland

This workshop will outline the processes involved in how to influence public policy. It will highlight the various stages required from completed research to policy makers. The workshop will address the potential avenues available, and in particular the “no-go zones”! Attendees should consider an example of how they would like to inform public policy.
