In collaboration with our sponsors Becton Dickinson and Thermo Fisher Scientific, the Centre for Cell Manufacturing Ireland (CCMI) has set up a workshop around the key challenges in Environmental Monitoring (EM) and rapid Quality Control release assays.
Environmental Monitoring (EM): Choosing the correct environmental monitoring design and methods are key for good detection and this meeting will cover these challenges as well as a review of Annex 1.
Rapid Quality Control Assays: Rapid QC assays are essential to allow efficient release of products and for real time analysis of the process. Choosing the appropriate methods as well as undergoing the correct validation program are essential in seeking regulatory approval of the assay. We will focus specifically on rapid sterility testing and mycoplasma testing.
