The Socio-Economic Marine Research Unit (SEMRU) of the Whitaker Institute, NUI Galway, invites you to attend the 8^th Annual Marine Economics and Policy Research Symposium

The day will provide participants with an update on a wide range of policy topics related to the marine sector in Ireland. The theme of this year’s event is “Past, Present and Future Developments in Marine Space”. Speakers will include Prof Morgan Kelly from UCD, Prof Peter Solar of Universiteit Brussel, Prof Cathal O’Donoghue from NUI Galway and Prof Ronan Long of the World Maritime University, Sweden, to name but a few.
